Pretty paper

Still no progress on actual presents. But yesterday I did make more than a dozen of these sweet-ums:

I saw directions for these bows at several sites, including here (though I feel like I saw these elsehwere too... I just can't figure out where!)

Here's how I did it:

1. Pull out magazine pages that were mostly colorful, with some main coordinating colors.



2. Cut about inch-wide strips of the magazine pages, lengthwise.



3. Loop each strip and staple in the center. Repeat for 4 strips/loops.



4. Cut one strip in half and use that for the top loop.



5. Pile the 4 loops on top of each other, and curl that top loop on top of the pile.



6. Hardest part: Work a staple into the middle of the top loop to staple everything together. Done!

Well, actually now I just need to start buying presents & wrap them. Then I'll be done...
